Along the way, they engage with and learn from influential leaders, fostering meaningful relationships and professional growth. As a result of this initiative, participants form strong connections and collaborate to develop impactful solutions that benefit the Chino and Chino Hills community.
On August 28th, the Chamber hosted its annual Leadership Collaborative Graduation at Los Serranos Country Club, celebrating the accomplishments of Cohort #3. The event featured distinguished guest speakers Atif Elkadi, CEO of Ontario International Airport, and Jackie Melendez, Assistant Manager for the City of Chino, who shared inspiring insights on the importance of bold decision-making and visionary leadership in shaping a stronger future for our community. The celebration concluded with a presentation from the graduating cohort, highlighting their work on the Community Goods Project, an initiative that demonstrated their commitment to embracing change, challenging assumptions, and developing innovative solutions to address local needs.

Community Goods Project
The 2024–2025 Leadership Collaborative group successfully hosted a fundraiser event that raised over $30,000 in support of Rebel Ranch, a well-established nonprofit organization based in Chino Hills. Rebel Ranch provides animal-assisted programs designed to foster independence, self-esteem, trust, communication, and critical thinking skills. These inclusive, all-ability activities ranging from specialized canine training and equine-assisted learning to horseback riding lessons and the Ranch Buddies program, are tailored to ensure accessibility for individuals of all abilities. Participants benefit not only through personal growth but also by contributing positively to the broader community. In addition to on-site programs, Rebel Ranch extends its impact by deploying certified therapy dogs to schools, nursing homes, and government facilities, offering vital comfort and emotional support throughout the region.
Chino Valley Alumni Association – New Program
The Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce its newest initiative: the Chino Valley Alumni Association. This exclusive networking group is open only to graduates of the Chino Valley Leadership Collaborative program and is designed to foster continued connection and engagement with the leadership program. Members of the association receive access to four annual events: the Alumni Mixer, an Alumni Roundtable, a complimentary ticket to the Leadership Graduation, and an invitation to a morning breakfast with the current Leadership Collaborative group. These opportunities support ongoing professional development, collaboration, and the strengthening of community leadership networks.
