2021 Golf Tournament Recap

The Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce held its third annual Golf Tournament On August 23, 2021, at the Los Serranos Country Club at 1:00PM. The event was a great success as the tournament was sold out and raised a record-breaking amount. The proceeds raised throughout the tournament will help support the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce and its continued goal of providing resources to the local Chino Valley business community.

First place tournament winners were Daniel Samson, John Gaynor, and Brandon Gealy. The hole-in-one prize of a car from MK Smith Chevrolet went unclaimed, although golfers put in their best effort to win the prize money. Closest to the pin winners were Remington Davis, Evan Holmes, Joseph McCormick, and Alan Burck. The longest drive winner was John Gaynor and the putting contest winner was John Westlake.

Randy Mac, NBC4 Consumer Reporter, was the EMCEE for the dinner portion of the event. Magician Danny Magic was the entertainer performing table-side magic for the golfers and auctioned eight tickets to the Magic Castle.

Members of the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce: Deanna Margaritha, Owner of Infuzion Zone, Jovan Romero, Owner of Luv 2 Play Chino Hills, and Kristina Guitierrez, Owner of Fresh Cut Catering, shared stories of how their businesses were impacted by Coronavirus-19 (COVID-19).

“I express my deepest gratitude to the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce President, Zeb Welborn, for lifting us above the ground in those trying times […]. From the much-needed guidance and support, we overcome all the obstacles laid upon us by this dreadful pandemic,” explained Romero.

Guitierrez shared, “[The Chamber] provided me a community of like minded individuals going through the same motions of the pandemic.”
